Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the LSH.

Requirements for professional membership:

  • In-depth Hypnotism-specific knowledge, which includes:
    1. History and philosophy
    2. Basic and advanced hypnotherapy skills
  • Legal and ethical requirements for practice
  • Certification Training that includes a minimum of 100 hours of face-to-face hypnotherapy skills and 30 hours practice
  • Certification through an internationally recognized school or association for Hypnosis
  • Proof of an ongoing practice/clinic or the required number of CEUs
  • Intact personal record
  • Adherence by the LSH Code of Ethics
  • Entry exam

Requirements for honorary membership:

  • In-depth Hypnotism-specific knowledge, which includes:
    1. History and philosophy
    2. Basic and advanced hypnotherapy skills
  • Certification accredited by an internationally recognized school or association for Hypnosis
  • Intact personal record
  • Adherence by the LSH Code of Ethics
  • Entry exam

Requirements for renewal:

  • Proof of practice of Hypnotherapy
  • A minimum of 40 CEUs or exam
  • Adherence by the Code of Ethics
  • Intact personal record

Membership Benefits:

  • You will be on the preferred referral list to clients
  • The LSH will support you with documentation for applications, visa matters etc….
  • The LSH will support you in any dispute cases, provided you are following the guidelines stated in the Code of Ethics
  • You will have the opportunity to attend monthly meetings to network as well as get the newest techniques, insights and more….
  • Monthly meetings will be a good opportunity for you to practice
  • Monthly meetings will be an opportunity for you to showcase your specialty/workshops etc…
  • You will get special discounts when attending workshops or trainings by any of our faculty members
  • You will receive CEUs for attendance of meetings, publications or any hypnosis related work
  • You will have the opportunity to publish your article/advertisement in the LSH newsletter

Annual fees are 200.000 LBP, with a one-time application fee of 50.000 LBP


For first time application:

To apply for the first time, please fill out this application and send it back to us together with the following documents:

  • Application form
  • CV
  • Relevant certificates
  • Personal photograph
  • ‘Sijl 3adli”
  • 50.000 LBP (non-refundable application fee)

Your application will be reviewed within 2 weeks and you will receive an email


For renewal:

To renew your membership please complete this form and send it back to us together with a new ‘sijl 3adli’ and the annual membership fees of 200.000 LBP
